The “International Environmental Communication Summit” (ECS), organized by our association IECA in Ankara on December 6–7, 2022, was our first major gathering bringing together environmental sustainability and communication. Sessions focused on the themes of "Common Ground," "Public Policies," "Investment Finance and the Environment," "Role Models," "Media and Its Effects," and "Sustainability Communication," hosting distinguished speakers and panelists from Turkey and the international arena. This summit went down in history as a valuable platform that enabled different stakeholders to come together and generate solution-oriented ideas.

As IECA, we are planning the 2nd International Environmental Communication Summit (ECS 2), which we anticipate with great excitement. In this new summit, where we will strengthen our stance against growing environmental emergencies, we will discuss current tools of sustainability communication, the leading role of societal transformation, and effective media strategies.
